Website structure
Website structure sets on links between its pages.
We distinguish three main sorts of structures:
- Radiant structure with the home page as the central ones, it’s the most common structure, each page is linked to the menu listing every pages;
- Linear structure, each page follows the one before;
- Arborescent structure, several pages, introducing as a home page would, to items detailed on next pages. Website may combine these mentioned structures.
Many pages inside the site shall be linked. Inside the same page, an image or a word can be linked to another part of the page or to other pages. All these internal links of the site are very important to optimize the site for the search engines.
