Page setting
Page setting: arrangement of the different elements composing a website page.
Your Internet communication efficiency depends on the page setting and the best illustrations, the best texts, the best animations are nothing if they are not set in such a way they are at least visible.
Page setting is the answer to several aims.
The first one is to make your message readable, to underline important information you would like your site visitors to remember.
The second one is that all the elements of a page should appear in harmony with each other in such a way eyes could easily circulate through any part of the page, distinguishing any part of it. In a heavy page setting, each picture, each title seems to struggle against its environment, seems to suffocate between its nearest similar elements.
A harmonious page setting let any picture, any word, get its breath and take the convenient place.
The third aim mustn’t contradict the two others, the conceiver’s creativity has to express itself, as far as the substance is linked to the form, as far as substance is just form emerging to the surface. Page setting must express your message; the disposition of each element, the way it appears on the page has to be adequate to your message.
It’s why esthetic quality and readability of your site needs an excellent page setting.
